If you want to experience Croatia nightlife, then Split is one of the first places you’ll want to visit.

Split

When it comes to nightlife, including dancing and live music, Split has tons to offer!

Party Activities Split Has to Offer

  • One of the biggest attractions in Split is the Riva, AKA a seafront promenade. It’s lined with palm trees, and with festivals and street performers, it really comes to life in the summer!
  • If you’re visiting Croatia, you certainly won’t want to miss out on the ever-popular Al Fresco drink. In Split, you can find plenty of locations to sample this beloved drink!
  • If you’re into bars, you can go on a guided Pub Crawl. This is a tour of some of the most renowned local pubs. Some pubs even have Hawaiian Luau or Beach Club night, and the Wizard Bar Crawl offers free pizza. In my experience, they’ll often start with bars that are more low-key and work up to those that are livelier!
  • If you’re a movie buff, I advise that you check out the Split open-air movie theater!

Zagreb

Zagreb, Croatia, is hard to match, with an incredible nightlife that’s very music-focused!

There’s heaps of live music, and bars that feature live performances (like the super-popular bar, SPUNK). In Zagreb, you can also find:

  • The Strossmayer Promenade is well worth a mention, as it’s a really gorgeous spot in Zagreb. In fact, it’s probably my favorite place to visit in the entire city. Why? The promenade follows the medieval wall, starting at Lotrščak Tower. It’s naturally beautiful, filled with chestnut trees and other greenery. It also provides a lovely view of Zagreb in general!
  • Vinoteka Bornstein is Zagreb’s first wine shop. If you’re a wine connoisseur, it’s the perfect location to sample some fine vintages. The rustic shop not only offers wine, but you can also learn about the history of the shop, the wine-making process, etc.!
  • If you’re looking for an elegant avenue, and a break from your typical bar atmosphere, you may wish to check out the Diamond Palace casino. It’s reserved for affluent and sophisticated folk!
