At its core, this facility features a vertical wind tunnel that creates a cushion of air, thus allowing fliers to float when they enter the wind chamber.
With air speeds of up to 160-180mph (257-290 km/h), the wind tunnel can simulate an actual outdoor skydive at 14,000 feet.
What To Expect At The iFLY Loudoun

Next, you’ll go to the training area to watch a short safety video and learn the basics of flying, like the proper body positioning and hand signals for communicating.
Slip on your flight suit and some safety gear, and you’ll be ready for an adventure of a lifetime.
Each participant gets a well-experienced instructor who stays by their side throughout the flight session, offering tips to maximize their flight and ensure safety.

iFLY flight packages cost $84.99 per person, covering two flight sessions, training, gear, and an instructor.
There are more packages to choose from based on the number of flyers, their experience level, and the number of flight sessions you want.
